Sedan (G30)

The seventh-generation 5 Series moved to BMW's CLAR platform, using aluminium and high-strength steel to cut weight, and added gesture control, Display Key and semi-automated driving assistants. The V8 M550i xDrive was raised from 462 to 530 Hp in 2019.
